Some rules are meant to be broken.

Will breaking the ones that aren’t cost them everything?

Orders have shaped Former Navy SEAL Zenko Marks’s entire adult life. Where to go, who to hunt, when to fight, and when to leave. He knows exactly what happens when an operator ignores his orders. Men die, missions fail, and brothers don’t come home. Finding a tortured American who has no business being in Syria changes none of that, but falling for him might change everything.

Black Ops Ghost Operator Shaun Jacobson knows better than to trust the man who rescues him from hell. His life is built on secrets, and his chosen family’s survival depends on keeping them. Yet somewhere between a rescue he hadn’t dared hope for and an attraction he can’t ignore, Zenko has become the one man he finds dangerously difficult to walk away from.

Shaun has secrets he cannot share, and Zenko has questions he cannot stop asking. But when one touch becomes another, attraction becomes desire, and desire becomes something more than either expected, the echo of their orders is the last thing on their minds.

Can covert agents from two of the world’s most secret teams allow their hearts to rule, or will a joint mission between their teams cost them everything they have fought for, everything they have found, and, worst of all... each other?
